Lehigh University is a private research university noted for engineering, business, and interdisciplinary programs.
Working with Lehigh’s Library & Technology Services team to design a leaner site with improved search. Creating a modern system with reusable components, typography standards, and accessibility guidelines, ensuring consistency across platforms.
Base elements are the core building blocks of a design system, like color, type, and spacing. Locking these in early keeps everything consistent and makes it easier to scale without things getting messy.

Editorial components are reusable content pieces like headings, text styles, and content blocks. Defining them early helps keep layouts consistent, speeds up production, and makes content easier to design and maintain across the system.
While not responsible for the build of the site, I provided the design of three prominent pages which helped their team to understand how the various components would interact.
