Process
Nike’s Existing Product Page
My first was to look at Nike’s existing product page and discovering room for change and/or improvements. It was extremely straightforward and relied heavily (and understandingly) on the product photography to sell the product.
At that point I asked myself: What opportunities are here for me to add my own spin on what they offer? And what are their competitors doing differently?
Visual Competitive Analysis
Some of Nike’s competitors include Reebok, Puma and Converse. And in my research I found that they were all largely using the same product page layouts. With major difference being the branding. This gave me the opportunity to think “outside the box”.
